Born and raised in Kentucky, Dr Adamson received her B.S in agricultural science from Murray State University before being accepted into veterinary school at Ross University on the island of St. Kitts. While in school on St Kitts, Dr Adamson fell in love with the warm tropical climate and Caribbean ocean. Looking to stay somewhere warm and sunny, she moved to Florida to complete her clinical year at the UF. Here she developed a strong interest in emergency medicine & critical care.

Following graduation and looking for a new adventure, Dr Adamson moved across the country to San Diego to complete a rotating internship at VCA Emergency Animal Hospital and Referral Center. Dr Adamson can often be found at the beach or hiking with her dogs. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, camping, and hanging out with her tortoise and cat.
